I started to walk away, but I could not believe another person would not look at me, so I turned around to check. She had looked up by now and she smiled. Perhaps Germans do not like to be approached while eating.

Woman eating her lunch. I was on the phone and she was near me being very quiet. I gave her the flower when I hung up. She looked at me and gave me a quick nod. She is only the second person to not say anything.
